• OBO carrier VICKY collides with wreck
• Pulls off by own power and floats free
• Further damage to wreck, but no pollution
• Later reported escape of oil from VICKY
• Oiled seabirds (France, Belgium, Holland)
• Incident inexplicable in view of safety measures and warnings

Next few days:

• French authorities review the employed safety measures again
• Owners asked to have the crane barge on site continuously
